<p>Erin H. Maybin is a licensed Beauty Professional, Educator, and Subject Matter Expert operating at the intersection of fashion, beauty policy, and clinical health. </p>
<p>An American Board-certified Hair Colorist with over 20 years of expertise, Erin specializes in fast-paced production environments, bringing technical mastery and set etiquette to runway, commercial, and editorial projects. She is an alumna of the Reel Works MediaMKRS IATSE Stylist Training Program and a certified Psychohairapist.</p>
<p>Beyond the chair, Erin is a systemic reformer. She is the Co-founder of the Natural Hairstyle and Braid Coalition (NHBC), a member of the NYS Appearance Enhancement Advisory Committee, and a <a href="https://nationalblackworkercenters.org/advocacy-and-policy-institute/">2026/27 National Black Worker Center Fellow</a>. Her innovative <a href="https://hairsteam.education">Hair S.T.E.A.M. LAB</a>™ further disrupts traditional narratives by exploring the science and artistry of hair through the lens of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics. A published writer and co-author of Laid to the Side, Erin remains dedicated to driving labor equity and inclusivity across the beauty and entertainment industries.</p>
