Erin H. Maybin is a leading voice in the natural hair care industry, dedicated to empowering the natural/textured hair community. As EVP of Education Development and co-founder of the Natural Hairstyle & Braid Coalition (NHBC), she drives innovative education strategies. Her Hair S.T.E.A.M. LAB™ initiative blends science, technology, engineering, art, and math to explore the science and art of hair.
A licensed cosmetologist (NY, PA, CA) and Board Certified Hair Colorist, Maybin also serves on the NYS Appearance Enhancement Advisory Committee, advocating for impactful policy and change. Her leadership empowers beauty professionals, shaping the industry’s future with a focus on inclusivity and meaningful action. A graduate of LEAD | ROLFS Global Institute powered by L’Oréal, she recently earned her AAS in Beauty and Wellness with honors and is a member of Phi Theta Kappa.
